Blue is with beyond doubt my favourite colour to wear. I have numerous blue ribbons, navy shirts, baby blue knits and even my pale blue practical waterproof. Over the years, my wardrobe has become almost completely full of blue items. Once I was on a trip with some random people and I remember a girl complaining about how much she hated black and navy being put together in an outfit. Black and navy is my go to. As I've grown up I seem to have become a lot darker in my choice of shades but always stuck with blue being at the core. To me, blue and black are classy. I'm sure as the summer months creep in, as they are even up here in Scotland, I'll add some warmer colours to my outfits. For now though, I'm quite happy camouflaging into the bright blue sea and chilly azure skies. 

Into The Fog

 Fog is amazing isn't it? A low cloud has settled over the town today and given even the most mundane places a mysterious nature. I came out of my lectures early and headed straight to the beach. I could hear the see in the distance but to my sight it was hidden by the fog blanketing the entire coast. I mainly wanted to show you the snood I've just finished crocheting. It's so snug. For the first day in a long time I feel like I can brave the outdoor in just two layers, rather than ten. If I had my way, I'd spend this day wandering about in a long cape reading Dicken's 'A Tale of Two Cities' and Sherlock Holmes. But, alas, deadlines loom. I'll sit inside instead and watch the fog silently lift itself off the sand. 

Late Afternoon

For Christmas I was given a whole bundle of ribbons, of all different colours and sizes. I've always loved putting ribbons in my hair because they make me feel like Violet Baudelaire. With my ribbon, snood and trusty hunters I went for a walk in the fields by my house. Despite the sun being out, it was freezing. I must say, I'm starting to really crave spring and the longer days. The time for snow has past and I'm ready to cycle around wearing pretty dresses.

Winter shades

I'm back home for the holidays and my days are currently filled with lots of crocheting, pretty little liars and walks in the cold woods around my house. It's no surprise that I finished crocheting the headband (pictured above) in just one night when I've got little else to do. I'm not complaining though! A few more days musing and squirrel spotting would be just swell thanks.
